Welcome to Canterlands, which includes our website (canterlands.com), Discord community, and Minecraft server. By accessing or using any part of Canterlands, you agree to these Terms of Service (“TOS”).
1. General Rules
- Be respectful to others. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks are not tolerated.
- No cheating, exploiting, griefing, or using unauthorized mods/clients that give unfair advantages.
- Follow all applicable laws when using our services.
- Our staff and moderators have the final say on the enforcement of rules.
2. Website (canterlands.com)
- The content on our website is for informational and community purposes.
- You may not attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the site.
- We do not guarantee the website will always be available or error-free.
3. Discord Community
- Must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Keep conversations safe-for-work.
- Do not spam, advertise, or promote unrelated servers, services, or products without permission.
- Our moderation team may mute, ban, or remove members at their discretion.
4. Minecraft Server
Canterlands follows Minecraft’s End User License Agreement (EULA).
This means:
- We do not own the game itself; only Mojang/Microsoft does.
- We do not sell in-game advantages for real-world money.
- We do not distribute Mojang’s intellectual property.
In-game rules:
- No griefing, stealing, cheating, or exploiting bugs. Respect player builds, land claims, and community events.
- Any use of third-party mods or resource packs must comply with our guidelines.
- Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

5. Purchases & Payments (Tebex)
- Canterlands uses Tebex (to handle donations, payments, and store purchases.
- All transactions are subject to Tebex’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- We are not responsible for payment processing, refunds, or chargebacks — Tebex manages all financial aspects.
- By making a purchase, you agree to Tebex’s terms in addition to these Canterlands terms.
To maintain server performance, world integrity, and storage efficiency, all player-owned assets — including but not limited to animals, horses, property, containers, and any items obtained through purchases, donations, or in-game rewards — are subject to removal after 60 consecutive days of player inactivity.
“Inactivity” is defined as the absence of logging into the server using the player’s account for a continuous 60-day period.
By participating on the server or completing any purchase/donation, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Non-Permanent Nature of Items:
All in-game items, perks, and assets (including paid items) are not permanent and are not guaranteed to persist indefinitely.
2. Automatic Removal:
Inactive player assets may be automatically cleared after 60 days without notice.
3. No Refunds or Compensation:
Removed items — including paid or donated perks — are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or compensation.
4. Voluntary Agreement:
By playing on the server or making any purchase, you agree to this policy and understand that the server is not responsible for the loss of assets caused by account inactivity.
This policy ensures a fair and optimized gameplay environment for all players.
6. Accounts & Data
- You are responsible for your account security. Do not share your login credentials.
- We do not collect personal data beyond what is necessary to run our website, server, and Discord community.
- By joining, you consent to basic logging for moderation and security (e.g., chat logs, IP addresses for bans).
7. Content Ownership
- Any content, builds, creations, or submissions made on the Canterlands server or community platforms are considered property of Canterlands.
- By participating, you grant Canterlands full rights to use, modify, display, and distribute your in-game creations, posts, and contributions for community and promotional purposes.
- Canterlands branding, logos, and official content remain exclusively ours.
8. Enforcement & Liability
- Breaking these rules may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
- We are not responsible for loss of data, progress, or virtual items.
- Our services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to This TOS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
